PIPEFITTER WELDER/STAINLESS STEEL TIGMy client is a growing organisation specialising in process pipework and mechanical installation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile pipefitter to join the company, supporting a high-profile client in Peterborough. Throughout your employment, youll be offered training opportunities to maintain and develop your skills.As a suitably qualified pipefitter with commercial pipefitting experience you will be working within a manufacturing production facility in Peterborough. Primary duties will be installing a range of pipework from ½” to 8” pipe in various systems such as screwed, press-fit, solvent weld etc. As a member of our team, you’ll be expected to be versatile and undertake other duties when required. This includes general fitting and installation work to help deliver our projects on time and to a high standard.About You:You will need to be able to:• Work safely in accordance with RAMS and safe systems of work.• Read installation drawings and plan suitable routes.• Measure, cut, thread/crimp and install pipe.• Fit flanged carbon steel and stainless pipework.• Use your initiative and create your own basic drawings when needed.• Experience with water authority regulations is desirable but not essential.You will need to be clean shaven on request as some tasks will require FFP3 masks.You must have demonstrable experience of pipefitting in an industrial or commercial setting.CSCS not required. IPAF 3a/3b, Confined space and PASMA tower would be an advantage, but training will be provided where necessary.Shifts:The role is site based - no travelling is required as the projects are within a clients facility.It is essential that you will need to live within a commutable distance of Peterborough.Standard working hours: Mon - Fri 8am -16.30pm (40 hours per week)Overtime Available, with great weekday and weekend overtime rates available.Due to the nature of the clients operation, some weekend work will be required.
