Job Description

Due to increased workload a payroll specialist role has become available within the worldwide pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will have a strong EMEA payroll background with an IPASS qualification or equivalent.Client DetailsThe client is a multinational pharmaceutical company paving the way with Innovative research. The organisation has a strong focus on inclusion and diversity in the workplace as well as working towards a Zero Carbon programme.DescriptionPayroll Specialist - RemoteResponsibilities include:

  • Process monthly payrolls in accordance with payroll cycle in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements
  • Payroll processing for expatriate employees (liaise with Global Mobility and Tax advisers)
  • Good knowledge on Irish payroll (incl. Sick and mat pay) and pension plan
  • Processing payments of net pay via EFT and Internet banking
  • Coordination of Taxes/Social Charges, Pensions, Insurances payments.
  • Respond to HR and employee queries arising on supported payrolls.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the external payroll vendors and internal departments
  • Support manager with ad hoc projects, as they arise
Profile
  • Irish Payroll experience is essential
  • 5 years of experience in payroll
  • Experience with Success Factor, Workday, ADP payroll systems
  • IPASS qualification
  • Ability to prioritise and handle a high volume of employee queries
  • Good understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with expatriates
  • Experience with time and attendance systems
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
