Part Time Senior Finance Assistant- Remote Working HB Commercial has proudly partnered exclusively with this not-for-profit organisation based on the outskirts of Cambridge. The organisation is looking to add a Senior Finance Assistant to its team, this role will be assisting the Finance Officer in all aspectsof day-to-day finance. The successful candidate will be a well-organised, analytical individual with a real can-do attitude who is self-motivated to achieve targets and meet strict deadlines. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Finance Officer and will be provided full training on the current ERP system and in-house processes. Ideally you will come from a finance background in a charity with at least an AAT level 3, howeverall experience is considered. The role will suit an individual who is looking to take the next steps in their career as well as developing their finance knowledge in this growing organisation. Responsibilities: *Reconciling daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly transactions*Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements*Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports using the SAGE finance system*Bank reconciliations*Record and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable*Preparation of P11ds*Monitor grants/contracts and ensure that these are charged with appropriate costs*Assist in the preparation of the depreciation schedule*Preparing for and participating in financial audits*Supporting the Senior Finance Officer and COO with projects and tasks as requiredRequirements:*Experience in a finance role, preferably in a not-for-profit*Experience using an Accountancy Software package *IT literate, including MS Excel, Word and Outlook*Keen eye for detail*Excellent self-motivation*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal The role is 30 hours per week, 9.30-16.00 Monday to Friday. This is a remote role, however for training you will be required to be office based at least 3 times a week during this period.
