Job Description

TEC Partners are working with employee-owned science and technology company that works with as many as 200 projects a year across wide range of industries, creating innovative breakthrough solutions.Working within multidisciplinary teams with scientists, engineers, and designers, every day is different and offers an opportunity to work on multiple different projects, develop technical and commercial skills, and contribute to cutting-edge technologiesin science, healthcare, renewable energy, and many other fields.The company is currently looking for an Optical Physicist in Energy and Materials division, to work mainly on renewable energy, hydrogen energy, clean air, and similar projects. As a consultant, you will work on complex scientific and engineeringprojects for the clients both in the office and in the labs.Requirements

  • Degree, ideally PhD, in Physics or similar field
  • Hands-on industrial or academic experience working with optics or photonics
  • Experience designing and building optical systems
  • Software experience, such as Zemax, COMSOL, and similar
  • Optical spectroscopy knowledge and experience: fluorescence, absorption, FT-IR, Raman, etc
  • Programming experience (MATLAB, Python) and algorithm development
