Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer North CambridgeshireCommutable from - Kings Lynn, Wisbech, Peterborough, Long Sutton, Chatteris, Downham Market £40,000Panama Days & Nights (12hr)Our client is a leading food manufacturer, that is going from strength to strength through this testing period. Supplying into all of the UK supermarket chains and some of the worlds top fast food chains. They are looking for a driven, aspirational & highly motivated multi-skilled engineer to join their site maintenance team.Role & Responsibilities:*Carrying out reactive & planned maintenance of all automated food production, processing & packaging machinery*Respond to breakdowns in an efficiently and with a root cause analysis / CI approach*Working with such machinery/equipment as, conveyors, palletisers, ovens, fryers, mixers, freezers, refrigeration, chillers, control panels, SCADA systems, packaging machinery, metal detectors *Electrical & mechanical fault finding & diagnostics *PLC - electrical fault finding *Dealing with motors, inverters, gearboxes, pumps, sensors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics*Be involved with the projects team - new installations & machine upgrades Knowledge, Skills & Experience:*Must be a multi-skilled engineer - capable both electrically & mechanically*Be a time-served apprenticeship - City & Guilds or NVQ qualified *Preferable to have worked in food manufacturing or as a minimum an automated production industry*Attitude is everything - want people to join that are driven, motivated and aspirational *Comfortable with working on some quite industrial food machinery*Need to have shown a stable & continual career path - do not like jo hoppers*Advantageous to have worked with SCADA systems*Happy to work rotating shift patterns & overtime if needed *Must be able to electrically fault find on PLC systems*Bonus if have 17th or 18th edition electrical*Strong fault finding & diagnostics skills - able to think effectively / efficiently on your own Shifts & Benefits Package:*Shift:-12hr Panama Days & Nights (Rotating)*Salary:- £40,000 + Regular Overtime Available (Potential OTE £50k+)*Benefits:- Private Pension, Life Assurance, 20 Shifts Days Holiday, Training & Progression Job Reference No: SE17457 / 534If you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant, Chris Gumm. directly at or call them for a confidential discussion on .
