Job Description

Mobile Service and Commissioning EngineerWorking with our client, who specialises in the commissioning of Clear Air systems into hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries we are seeking a skilled Service and Commissioning Engineer to join their team! Products that you will be servicing and commissioning include; Microbiological Safety Cabinets, Downflow Booths (VLFs), Laminar Flow Cabinets, Robotics Enclosures, Pharmaceutical Isolators, Cleanrooms, Powder Control Booths, Containment Suites, Fume Cupboards and Ventilated Extract Tables.Start: ASAPLocation: Field based Southern EnglandHours: 40v hours per weekSalary: up to £35,000 per year (Negotiable!)Benefits: Company van (inc. personal use), Mobile phone & Laptop, Full expenses paid, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Company profit share bonus scheme, Company pensionPLEASE NOTE: The position is field based primarily across Southern England with nationwide cover & overnight stays where required. Weekend and overseas travel will also be expected within reason, including the occasional travel to head office in Manchester.Duties:

  • Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines
  • Ensuring that equipment works to its specification
  • Creating and carrying out test procedures
  • Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults
  • Servicing equipment to required schedules
  • Troubleshooting
  • Writing reports and documentation
  • Providing technical support
  • Ensuring safe working conditions
  • Testing to BS EN 12469, ISO 14644, BS EN 14175 standards
  • Factory acceptance testing (FAT), Operator Protection (KI) testing, DOP testing
    • Skills and Experience Required:
  • Full UK driving license & passport
  • Problem solving, can-do attitude
  • Installation & Operational Qualification (IQOQ) - DESIRABLE
  • Excellent customer service & relationship building skills
  • Relevant service engineer experience within the industry (2 years)
  • Proficient computer skills including E-mail, Microsoft Excel & Word
