My client based in Cottenham is currently looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the team.IMMEDIATE START!!50/50 on/off site, supporting industrial services.Hours of workMonday to Friday - 6.30am - 4.00pmSalary - £10.00-£13.00ph (depending on experience)Role SummaryTo support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the plant, equipment and the site conditions at our Cottenham treatment facility as well as supporting off site works to support the Industrial Services function.Primary Responsibilities - ON SITE: * To carry out planned maintenance activities, ensuring job cards are completed to meet agreed service level standards, reporting these to the maintenance supervisor on a weekly basis* To carry out general unplanned or defective mechanical activites across the site* Regular maintenance inspections ensuring plant and equipment housekeeping is completed* To ensure compliance requests are met regarding health and safety, defects and near misses* To liaise with other members of staff so they are aware of housekeeping standards* To control relevant stocks and communicate stock movementsPrimary Responsibilities - OFF SITE: * Operating equipment specific to the tank subject to training* Operating plant as required* Loading and unloading vehicles* Involved in tank and pipework installation/maintenanceEssential Qualifications* Educated to GCSE level (Maths + English)* Maintenance experience* Technical knowledge of equipment, products, and regulations for oil storage, environmental protection and health and safety* Good level of physical health in order to pass confined space and health medicals.If you think you have all required aspects listed above please apply online or call Rebekah on .Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
