Job Description

Working for an innovative engineering company who have a strong client base and great manufacturing facilities to produce their products, my client are seeking an additional design engineer to join their team and offer a great opportunity for someone lookingto use their mechanical engineering design skills on a broad range of interesting and bespoke equipment.Your responsibilities will include;

  • Designing mechanically engineered products
  • Working on a large range of projects from client led design to NPD
  • Managing all aspects from initial design through to manufacture
  • Creative problem solving on design challenges
You will ideally have design or development experience on mechanical products and have a practical approach to designing robust products for a variety of sectors. Working within a small team, you will possess relevant mechanical engineering qualifications(eg apprentice trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng or equivalent) and be a confident user of 3D CAD (eg Solidworks, ProE, Inventor or similar) as well as used to FEA/FMEA.
