Job Description

Our client is a successful global company that provides a variety of on-site Laboratory Services to major pharmaceutical companies. They now have an exciting opportunity at a respected pharmaceutical customer for a Materials Management Coordinator.This company offers a wonderful opportunity for development and career progression. They seek communicative, enthusiastic and capable people for their roles and reward their employees with a handsome salary and benefits and a varied and valuable workingexperience.The Opportunity:You will be responsible for improving operational effectiveness, supplying and maintaining infrastructure procedures, and looking for methods to improve client service using LEAN concepts in this position.You will support the day to day operations of the Central Stores, Procurement and Sample Dispatch facilities.

  • Stock management - movement of consumables around building and stock room as required
  • Procurement - buying of scientific consumables on behalf of the customer through a procurement system
  • Dispatch goods ensuring all relevant documentation is correct and meets GMP/GLP/GxP and Health and Safety standards.
  • Resolve or escalate complex queries from the customer
  • Participate in the preparation for regulatory inspections as needed.
  • Ensure that materials with special handling, storage or distribution requirements (such as hazardous shipments and temperature sensitive material) are properly monitored.
  • Archiving of documentation
About You:
  • Experience working in a Stock room/Warehouse/Stores environment
  • Experience of work experience in a Scientific Stores environment preferable
  • Experience of procurement preferable
  • Experience working to IATA/ADR/IMDG preferable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Driving License is required
