Job Description

The position will involve assisting in the procurement of raw, pack, and consumable materials necessary for manufacturing operations at various sites. This will require close collaboration with the local supply chain team.Client DetailsThe client is known for its diverse range of products and services that cater to various sectors. The company emphasises the importanceof sustainability and strives to minimise its environmental impact while delivering high-quality products.DescriptionAs the Materials Planner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development of new procurement strategies and ordering patterns to enhance material availability and optimise working capital.
  • Working closely with the planning team to ensure the timing of requisitions aligns with the production plan and inventory targets.
  • Collaborating with the purchasing team to track and follow up on material deliveries.
  • Generating and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) reports.
  • Providing support for tolling activities.
  • Maintaining the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system.
  • Processing invoices and addressing related queries.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong, professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Coordinating with other departments at the site to procure non-stock items as needed.
Profile* Proficient in using SAP.* Familiarity with a process-oriented work environment.* Previous experience in procurement or purchasing.* Strong focus on data analysis and metrics.* Effective communication skills.* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.* High level of computer literacy, particularly in major IT tools like Excel.* Comfortable with handling ambiguity and setting priorities.* Detail-oriented with a proven track record of achieving results.Job Offer
