Does this sound like youRole Responsibilities:* Provide support on the factory floor as the first point of contact for quality issues or concerns in production* Working with the team to developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements - running structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D)* Developing and implementing quality standards in production* Inspection and testing material, equipment, process and products to ensure quality specifications are met* Work closely with the Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer on CPO (Customer Perfect Order) corrective actions and improvements* Work with the Manufacturing Engineers and CI Engineer to highlight reoccurring quality topics and lead structured problem-solving analysis to address them Your experience:* Tenacious, with the ability to engage with and influence people from outside of their team to maintain high quality levels* Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities* Competent dealing with internal and external staff/suppliers and customers at all levels* Strong communication skills both verbal and written* Able to co-ordinate and lead small teams* A can-do attitude where all tasks are accepted as a challenge and opportunity to improve the business* Lean Manufacturing knowledge* Ability to interpret and present data effectively* In-depth understanding of technical documentationYour qualifications:* Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred - BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field* Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role;* Previous experience in manufacturing environment;* Quality Management ISO 9001:2015;* Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office package, especially Microsoft Excel;* Improvement schemes, CAPA, PDCA cycles* Internal auditor skills* Understanding of Process flow diagrams, work instructions, template creation* Knowledge of Medical, industrial measurement technology, microscopy products would be advantageousNext Steps:If you believe that you are a good fit for the Manufacturing Quality Engineer position, submit your CV now.
