Job Description

Our Client has established a leadership position in the enzymes field. These enzymes are now emerging as attractive therapeutic targets as they are involved in many disease pathways and pathologies. They are searching for an experienced legal administratorto join their inhouse legal council team to provide support to the legal processes and also support the HR team. Responsibilities:Legal:

  • Management of all Legal documents, providing end to end legal contract management.
  • Manage systems for the control of all company contracts, including maintaining the contracts database and contract lifecycle management.
  • Maintain contractual templates including CDAs, consultancy agreements and service agreements to ensure contracts are in place for all service users.
  • A key interface between internal and external functions, coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders and external lawyers for the drafting, review and negotiation of legal agreements and to ensure that any operational, legal or regulatory changes arereflected in company precedents.
  • Assist in management of data rooms.
  • Manage contract execution process end to end.
  • Manage external legal counsel budget.
General:
  • Supporting HR Senior Director maintaining HR records, e.g share option documentation, employment contacts etc.
  • Provide cover to Executive Assistant to manage Board and Investor meetings
Skills and Experience:
  • Legal document management.
  • 1-year minimum experience working in a legal administrator role.
  • Previous administration experience in a law firm or legal environment desirable but not essential
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Docusign.
  • High attention to detail, well organised with strong prioritisation and time management skills, excellent written English skills, able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively across the business and externally, anticipate and respond toneeds of others, understand business processes and priorities while remaining approachable with a proactive, pragmatic can-do attitude,
