Job DescriptionEAC are working in collaboration with a highly accredited client who are looking for an individual to compliment the expansion of their growth and maintain the title of being the UKs market leader, they are now recruiting for Leak Detection technicians in your area. Demonstrating positivity, an analytical and disciplined approach to your work, you will already be a leak detection technician looking to progress, or someone with a building/plumbing background looking to make their next move.Job RoleThe role is for a Leak Detection Technician.On offer

    • DutiesKey Responsibilities:
  • Following instruction of the Leak Detection Manager and carry out adhoc projects.
  • Carry out leak detection jobs covering all regions as required.
  • Progressing outstanding estimates
  • Communicating with clients/customers and arrange meetings.
  • You will need to attend seminars and visits.
  • Ensures Polygon IT system is completed correctly, in line with quality procedures.
  • As Leak Detection Manager you will need to support technicians with technical problems regarding leak detection where necessary.
  • You will need to work out turnover and profit with your Leak Detection Manager.
  • You will need to ensure you are following quality precautions and that all equipment is safe to use.
  • You will need to attend meetings when instructed to do so by your Leak Detection Manager.
  • You will need to liaise with customers.
  • Assist with any design projects.
  • As leak detection technician you will need to work with your Leak Detection Manager to develop new techniques.
  • Ensuring Company and quality procedures are adhered to by the restoration technicians.
  • Moisture surveys and writing technical reports.
  • Calibration and repair work to all Leak Detection equipment
  • Trace & Access and fix of hidden pipe work.
    • The Person
  • You will need to have plumbing skills/ qualifications.
  • You will need to have technical skills/ psychometrics.
  • You will need to have experience with drying techniques.
  • You will need to have experience thermography.
  • You will need to have building knowledge.
  • You will need to have knowledge on company products and services.
  • Knowledge on building investigation.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to do building/diy.
  • You will need to be able to deal with customers, especially under stress.
  • Knowledge on electrics.
  • The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude.
  • The ideal candidate will be a lateral thinker.
  • The ideal candidate will be disciplined and patient.
  • The ideal candidate will be analytical and methodical.
  • You will need to have a good education e.g., English/maths GCSE.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to provide the best solution to all leak detection/trace, access and fix instructions received by the Company in the most cost effective and profitable manner.
  • You will need to carry out moisture surveys where needed.
  • You will need to grow the Companys business and to develop the leak detection business by keeping ahead of new technology and ensuring sound knowledge of current techniques and procedures.
