Job Description

Our Public Sector client based in Fulbourn is seeking an IT Technician to join their team on a Temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work withing Health Education England (HHE) where you will be working within a team to providehigh quality in-house service.This role is fully office based which is located in Fulbourn, Cambridge however there may be times where remote home working can be accommodated depending on the current work requirements, however this cannot be guaranteed.This is a Temporary Position ongoing until the end of January 2024 with the possibility of an extension (however this is not guaranteed) The role is Monday to Friday, and varies between the hours of 8am - 4pm and 9am-5pm (37 hours per week).The rate of pay is 14.53 an hour. Holiday entitlement and pension scheme available. The role will include, but will not be restricted to;

  • Ensure all IT support needs are logged, investigated, escalated and resolved accordingly
  • Image, deploy and maintain Windows PCs, Laptops and smart devices ensuring that assets are regularly tested and ready for use
  • Testing new software updates and upgrades to ensure compliance with software licensing
  • Making sure security compliance and standards are met and IT policies are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and knowledge in IT Support, and have efficient experience working with Windows 10, Azure, Active Directory and MS 0365 as well as excellent trouble shooting and customer service skills. The successful candidate for this role will hold the below skill sets and traits -
