The company is a leading insurance provider, based in St Ives.This role will give you the opportunity to gain experience in an office, work in a fantastic team, and develop your skills.Responsibilities;

  • Answering inbound telephone calls.
  • Making outbound telephone calls (no "cold calling")
  • Willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate with customers to provide relevant product information that is clear, fair, and not misleading allowing the customer to make an informed decision.
  • Understand customers issues and recommend solutions.
  • Maximise targets through the provision of effective and efficient communication and negotiation skills.
  • Use all relevant information to optimise opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell insurance products.
  • Evidence of excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Manage time effectively to meet required business targets ensuring quality and accuracy requirements are met.
  • Commit to own personal development

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and have some experience in a customer service role. Office experience is not essential as training will be provided.If this sounds like something that could be of interest to you, get in contact now so as not to miss out!The CompanyMy client is a leading multi-brand insurance group who are renowned for its staff reward and recognition.What is the salary and hours £19,000 per year; after 9 months £20,000; after 18 months £21,000 (plus commission on top of basic).The role is full-time and permanent, 37.5 hours a week. You will work on a shift basis and must be available to work between the following times:Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturdays 8am-5pm (you will work 50% of weekends)Hybrid working (3 days from home 2 days in the office) What benefits are thereThey offer 30 days holiday (inc Bank Holidays) with the ability to buy and sell more days.
