Job Description

Head of DeliveryLocation: East AngliaSalary: £80,000 to £100,000 basic + package dependant on experiencePlease note: An immediate needAn exciting opportunity has come about with one of our clients who are looking to recruit a Senior Manager to come in and Manage the delivery of their projects. A relatively small company looking to expand again after going through some fundamental changes; a great opportunity for an experienced leader to expand and help shape the operation.The purpose of the role is to deliver the Contract within time, specification and standard. Manage the relationship with their client as well as lead the internal Operations to fulfil the contractual obligations.Experience:

  1. Evidence of leading a capex Telecoms Framework Programme recently
  2. MUST be predominantly telecoms background and currently delivering FTTP network builds
  3. Strong Programme Management skills - overall accountability for delivery-to-plan of; framework commercials, handover milestone achievement, quality outputs all delivered in a safe manner.
  4. MUST have Tier 2 contractor experience, full turnkey services in the context of FTTP (Fibre and Civils) to at least 5000THP/annum
  5. MUST be technically competent; hybrid system FTTP architecture (PIA and Self-Build infrastructure) and components with the ability to understand fibre build quality issues, technical and operational compliance.
  6. Client facing experience - ability to develop mature relationships
  7. Experience of process improvement and KPI systems
  8. Experience of asset management/ workflow management/GIS systems such as Bentley, GeoPal and QGIS
  9. Strong Change Control skills
  10. Experience of implementing Quality Assurance Management systems in the field
Qualifications:
  • Preferably APM/IPM/Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management accreditation
  • Preferably electrical or telecoms engineering degree or HND
  • Significant Resource Management and Vendor Management experience
