Job Description

Genetic Biology Project Manager Location - CambridgeSector - BiologySalary - £40,000-£50,000 dependent on experienceOur client is a leading gene synthesis company based in Cambridgeshire.Due to expansion within the Commercial team, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to oversee client engagement from initial project scoping through tofinal product delivery.As Project Manager your core responsibility will include the efficient coordination of projects for internal and external partners to ensure the smooth delivery of final product to clients.Responsibilities:

  • Management of projects throughout lifecycle - from business development and specification to final delivery of product to the client
  • Liaise with clients on project measurables - project timelines, manufacturing, shipping and logistics
  • Aid with business development activities
  • Delivery regular project communications between external clients and internal project teams
  • Monitor project schedules highlighting potential issues as they emerge to other departments
Required experience
  • Significant project management experience in life sciences environment
  • A bachelor or higher scientific degree in a relevant life sciences discipline
  • Capable of working independently and taking responsibility for project delivery
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable experience in a client liaison role
