Senior Finance Business Partner PeterboroughOur client, based in Peterborough, is a leading player in the Produce industry. They are dedicated to delivering the freshest and healthiest products to customers and consumers. We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for a key role within their operations. The primary objective of this role is to partner with the Operations Director and provide Heads of department with essential financial insights to enhance operational activities.Key Responsibilities but not limited to* Enhance and refine key processes, such as Production Performance and Cost Centre Management, to maximise efficiency and profitability.* Collaborate with Senior Leaders to ensure the accurate delivery of financial information that drives informed decision-making.* Deliver concise and actionable financial insights to stakeholders, empowering them to make effective decisions.* Oversee year-end audits and stock counts, ensuring the integrity and transparency of financial data.* Provide daily and weekly analysis accompanied by insightful commentary and strategic recommendations.* Consistently deliver forecasts and budgets, backed by thorough analysis and valuable commentary.* Equip upper-level management with high-quality financial data crucial for making strategic, operational, and tactical decisions.* Conduct a comprehensive analysis of business performance, including detailed variance analysis.* Assume responsibility for the Profit and Loss Statement while ensuring the precision of Balance Sheet account balances.* Expertly forecast labour and factory overheads, conducting rigorous CAPEX reviews to support intelligent investment decisions.* Exercise control over production costs and serve as a trusted Business Partner to the Operations Director.* Drive forward-looking forecasting, financial modelling, planning, and auditing to support proactive decision-making.* Conduct in-depth analysis, assessing viability and performance against targets and key performance indicators, and offering continuous monitoring, highlighting key insights, and actionable analysis.* Implement robust management and review processes for reporting, enhancing transparency and accountability.* Maintain a strong commitment to compliance with governance, risk, and control standards.* Continuously validate labour-related standards against actual data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in resource allocation.The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:Qualifications:Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)Skills and Experience:* Proven track record of business partnering within the Produce industry or manufacturing environment* Experience in analysing and explaining financial figures to stakeholders* Proficiency in working with Operational and Commercial aspects with a highly commercial mindsetMy client offers a competitive basic with a fantastic benefits package including a car allowance and bonus.Please apply now for more information and a copy of the detailed role profile
