Job Description

Factory CleanerTemp to Perm£9.00 p/hr, Overtime at time and a half34.5 hr week, Monday to Thursday - *4 DaysOwn transport required due to locationA Factory Cleaner required to work at an engineering manufacturing factory based in the Cambourne area.Applicants will need to have their own transport due the companys rural location.Duties include:

  • Sweeping up factory floors
  • Washing & using mobile Karcher on factory floors
  • Emptying domestic rubbish bins
  • Emptying metal swarf bins from engineering sections
  • Cleaning engineering machines
  • Toilet cleaning duties daily
  • Hoovering
  • Pressure washing
    • Hours: Working hours are 39 hours per week.
  • Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm
  • Tuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm
  • Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm
    • 1/2-hour lunch* NOTE: Currently this is working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday. However this will change to 5 days once restrictions ease, increasing to 38 hours with Friday added to the working week and finishing at 12.00 mid-day on the Friday.Rate: £9.00 p/hrPossibility of becoming a permanent position.Own transport required due to locationPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
