Due to success and growth a new opportunity for an Equipment Engineer is required to join a company who is at the height of R&D, they strive themselves in delivering next generation technology on a worldwide scale.As an Equipment Engineer you will be responsible for;* Reactive maintenance on a range of complex production machinery such as vacuum deposition system equipment within a clean room environment. * Planned preventative maintenance* Being involved in continuous improvement projects, sharing ideas on how to enhance machine performance.* Repair of automated assembly and vision recognition systems* Maintaining high accuracy industrial robots* Modification and fabrication of equipment As an Equipment Engineer you will be expected to fault find, attend breakdowns, be able to think outside the box, be able to work with multi-disciplines such as Scientists, Electronics Engineers, Software Engineers etc. The ideal candidate will need to have experience maintaining high complex machines and willing to learn. You will be required to be multi-skilled biased to electrical/electronic engineering and can understand the technical specifications. We are looking for team players and people who can work on their own. Communication is key in this role.Candidate would ideally hold a HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering with a few years experience within a similar role whereby your attending breakdowns, fault finding, able to think outside the box and be analytical. Candidates will be required to be flexible and be able to contribute in all aspects of the business.Candidate who have worked within an R&D facility would also be an advantage along with being proactive, technically minded and having a passion for cutting edge technology.In return we have an excellent package on offer, to find out more information please apply.
