Job Description

You will be a constructive participant in the sales and marketing of services, and the formulation of the business development plan for the business area.You will act as a reference point to team members on technical issues, as well as effectively and efficiently managing the output of the Consultancy Team. You will be exemplar in the timely delivery of project work to clients, in a manner which provides consistency with the company requirements on accredited procedures (where applicable) and quality standards and demonstrate an ability to communicate with all levels of seniority. You will have the ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of the strategic awareness of the business model, current and future markets and legislative drivers.Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting the Operations Director in the successful delivery of the Strategic objectives
  • Representing the Technical delivery function on the Management Team
  • Providing technical insight at all stages of the business (marketing, proposal/tender writing, service development, delivery, account management)
  • Overseeing the development of, and innovation and efficiency gains within, new and existing services, to continually improve the service offering for our customers (maternity cover)
  • Managing your own and your team’s technical delivery in line with project management timetables, quality standards and project budgets
  • Overseeing the technical training and development plans for the delivery team
  • Line managing the consultancy team
  • Providing customer service support to our customers as needed to wow’ them
  • Actively identifying new upsell opportunities within the existing customer portfolio and supporting your team to do the same
  • Working with the Head of Service Delivery to ensure the complete and accurate recording of project data in the necessary systems to allow adequate internal reporting to occur

  • Experience, Skills & QualificationsEssential:
  • Net Zero Strategy Development & Execution
  • Carbon Compliance Experience (SECR & ESOS)
  • Energy surveys (non-manufacturing - energy in buildings)
  • Monitoring and Targeting (inc. regression & CUSUM analysis)
  • Line Management experience
  • High level of numeracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desirable:
  • ESG Consultancy
  • Carbon Disclosure Schemes (CDP/TCFD)
  • Supply Chain Engagement
  • ISO50000 series standards (e.g. ISO50001, ISO50006, ISO50015)
  • Energy surveys (manufacturing, process and/or transport)
  • ESOS Lead Assessor

  • Salary of £37,925- £46,637 (dependent on experience)
  • Pension Scheme
