Engineering Supervisor (Nights) North Cambridgeshire Commutable from - Wisbech, Peterborough, March, Chatteris, Holbeach, Kings Lynn, Outwell£47,00012hr 4on 4off Permanent Nights Our client is a leading multi-national food manufacturer & packaging organisation, supplying into all the supermarkets. They are looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to come on board and lead their close-knit night shift team.Role & Responsibilities:*Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all high-speed food production lines*Carry out PPMs, reactive maintenance & project work *Lead a small engineering night shift team to achieve their full potential*Working on conveyors, automation & controls, fillers, tray sealers, robotics, PLCs, palletisers, packaging machinery, checkweighers, metal detectors, mixers*Plan and prioritise the shift workload*Execute the planned preventative maintenance schedule*Ensure the shift engineering team adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP)*Project work - machine upgrades, continuous improvements & modifications*Issue right to work permit to contractorsKnowledge, Skills & Experience:*Must be a multi-skilled engineer (ideally electrically biased) *Have completed a time-served accredited apprenticeship*Be a confident character, as need to be responsible for the engineering function on nights*Must have previously worked as an engineering supervisor / team leader*Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs capabilities*Previous experience of working in food or FMCG manufacturing *Must have previously worked permanent nights *Any previous experience of project work would be great*Knowledge of GMP, food hygiene, health & safety standards*Able to input data into PPM systems, and allocate workload to teamShifts & Benefits Package:*Shifts:-12hr 4on 4off Permanent Nights (6pm-6am)*Salary:- £47,000*Benefits:- 23 Shift Holidays, 8% Match Private Pension, X4 Life Assurance, Staff Discounts, Cycle-To-Work-Scheme, Share Save SchemeJob Reference No: CG19154 / 534Suitable candidates should apply immediately by calling our Managing Consultant for this vacancy - Chris Gumm on or by sending your CV directly to him at We regret that this client is not prepared to sponsor work permit or work permit transfer applications.
