Job Description

Embedded Software EngineerLocation: CambridgeSalary: Highly flexible, because were looking at multiple levels of experience. Were actively looking for experienced embedded developers to join a well-established team at a Cambridge company that is designing and developing regulated medical devices. The ever-evolving projects mean that if you are looking for a challenging role thatadds real value to patients lives at a forward-thinking and progressive establishment, this is going to be for you.There is a real opportunity in this role to make it your own-they prioritise quarterly meetings with your personal career coach to ensure and facilitate outstanding career progression. Whether you want to take a technical avenue or become involved in thebusiness development side of things, they will support you.This role is aimed at embedded engineers ranging from a couple of years of commercial experience under their belt, all the way to the most seasoned developers (~10 years).Key Skills & Experience Youll Need:

  • Software engineering for robust embedded systems in C/C++
  • Knowledge of embedded micro-controller architectures and embedded interfaces (e.g. SPI, I2C, UART, USB) and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, BLE, Modbus)
  • The expert ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios
