Job Description

Electrical CraftspersonElectrical Craftsmen required to work for a leading logistics company, you will be maintaining and testing the Pipeline Systems electrical system daily. Do you have maintenance experience within a petrochemical or process industry environmentThe organisation we are working with is the leading storage and transportation logistics services provider for oil and biofuels. They are Europes largest network of civil pipelines.

  • You will be in charge of the Pipeline Systems day-to-day electrical maintenance and testing, working safely and methodically to guarantee that all facilities, plant, and equipment are kept in good operating order.
  • You will give a resolution of problems, changes in the functioning of specific plant items, and information in response to a maintenance alert while liaising with technical colleagues.
  • You will also be accountable for updating the computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • In addition, you will carry out regular maintenance of LV distribution small power and lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing, and Electrical periodic inspection and testing to BS 7671 and BS 60079 including Hazardous area electrical inspectionand testing work in accordance with procedures.
Job Requirements:Due to the nature of our business and this profession, you will be needed to work extra for out-of-hours breakdowns and emergencies.Clean driving licenceMust have 5 C Grade GCSEs or equivalentCompEx2394 and 239517th Edition IEE RegulationsBS7671 qualifiedLocation: South CambridgeWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8:00am - 4:00pm)Contract Type: Permanent
