Job Description

Data Scientist - Duxford - £60K DOERole: Data ScientistLocation: Duxford (Hybrid 3 days per week in office) Salary: £60,000 DOE Sponsorship: Cannot be providedWe are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join an expanding team within a global leader in the manufacturing of advance composite materials. With an expanding employee base of over 5000 worldwide, theyre experiencing record revenuesof over $1.5bn! Developing some of the most cutting-edge lightweight, high-performance structural materials, they really are an exciting company to be joining!Specifically, the role will involve:

  • As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for using data science to discover deeper insights, make predictions and generate recommendations. Overall, you will be driving new insights and causality in their data to transform the clock speed of the Company,ultimately using Data Science to tackle business problems. Communication is key, as you will be translating technical content to a business audience in a way that delivers the most added value and to champion a data driven culture. This role will be a technicallead in the ML/AI teams.
Were excited if you have:
  • BSc or MSc degree in relevant data science subjects
  • PhD would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience of working with the knowledge of R & Python (R preferred) and comfortable using SQL
  • Experience in data visualisation
  • Experience of Data Factory, Data Robot, Data Bricks
  • Experience working in Agile environments (e.g. SCRUM teams) would be beneficial
