Job Description

Child Information & Advice OfficerGodmanchester£14.44-£18.7737 hours Monday-FridayHybrid working available3 month initial contractOpus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Peterborough City Council for a Child Information & Advice Officer to work in their Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, or MASH department.This is the first point of contact for all new contacts about children, young people and their families. They help vulnerable children who may benefit from early help services as well as children in need of social work support, protection and care.Main responsibilities:

  • Complete Requests for information from external agencies and other local authorities by reviewing the liquid logic database and providing information in accordance with GDPR and Working together to safeguard children 2018.
  • In addition to request information from other agencies and local authorities to assist with the MASH enquiry process.
  • Upload documents to the Liquid Logic data base.
  • Update Liquid Logic database with information on behalf of social workers (demographics, family relationships).
  • Complete Genograms & Chronologies
  • Complete outcome letters to Parents Carers & Professionals.
  • Take Phone calls from parents/ professionals/ members of the public then email Social Worker & Managers and update liquid logic.
The sucessful candidate will have experience of working in a team in Multi-agency team supporting children and families or Childrens Social Care and/or Customer Services.
