JustPhysio are looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to work with their client in Cambridgeshire Band 6 Physiotherapist Neurology 12 month contract Start ASAP Salary £32k-£35k Our client in Cambridgeshire is looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team.The Marbrook Centre is a specialist Neurological Rehabilitation provider in Cambridgeshire. The centre provides intensive rehabilitation for people post stroke, ABI, spinal injury and many other conditions. Since opening almost 5 years ago our client has developedconsistently high quality therapy outcomes and received positive feedback from individuals, families and our CCG partners on the rehabilitation and care experience. They are looking to recruit a Physiotherapist with experience in Neurological Rehabilitationfor a 12 month fixed term maternity leave cover to work closely with the current Physiotherapy team and wider MDT. The post holder will be working in a dynamic environment providing comprehensive assessment and high quality treatment programmes to individualswith a wide range of neurological conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with your patients and utilise a wide array of resources and up to date technology. There will be opportunities to run/attend regular training and to provide supervisionto assistants and CPD is actively encouraged. Purpose of role: This post holder will be primarily responsible for designing and delivering rehabilitation programmes to help our residents achieve their goals. This post holder will be involved in supporting and coaching staff to achieve desired outcomesfor their caseload. . As this is primarily a clinical role, this post holder will have day to day contact and involvement with residents, their families and visiting professiona Overall Responsibilities: To take responsibility for ensuring therapeutic programmesare designed, delivered and evaluated. To ensure all personal rehabilitation plans are reviewed monthly, or more frequently as clinical needs dictate. To contribute to the rehabilitation review meetings and liaise with CCGs and other funding bodies. Toproduce high quality written reports and rehabilitation documentation. Taking an active role in discharge planning including CHC procedure. To participate in the recruitment of the rehabilitation service staff team as required. To train, mentor and coachsupport staff. General Responsibilities: To keep accurate and clear documentation in line with sector specific and legal requirements. To participate in audits as required. To keep abreast of new developments in the profession, and to bring innovation andcreative input to the role, for consideration and discussion with line manager. To attend all mandatory and developmental training courses relevant to the post and as agreed with the line manager. To work in accordance with all relevant legislation e.g.CQC standards, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty, Health & Safety at Work etc, and in line with The Marbrook Centres policies and procedures at all times, contributing (if and when appropriate) to the revision of these documents.
