Job Description

This is a vital part of any finance team ensuring everyone is in sync and operating as effectively as possible.My client is looking to add an Accounts Payable Assistant to the team, with the ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience within AP and now ready to take the next step in their career.Responsibilities include:

  • Process and input Supplier Purchase Invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders, identify discrepancies rectifying as soon as possible.
  • Regular contact with external stakeholders, addressing payment issues, credit terms, and resolving queries.
  • Support month-end processes, including reconciliation of supplier statements, credit card statements, and handling ad-hoc tasks to assist the Finance Team.
You will be joining a high performing Accounts Payable team who have built a great working environment, to be successful in this role you will be:
  • Collaborative, working with other areas of the finance team as well as the wider business to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
