I am currently partnering with a global technology organisation based just north of Cambridge supporting their search for an experienced Windows Systems Administrator. The company is constantly growing and is looking for an experienced individual to jointheir technical team. Key tasks:- Working closely with the Service Desk team to outline the PC standards and needs.- Support and improve the infrastructure to make the user experience as good as possible.- Be the 3rd line support contact for all escalated desktop issues.- Manage the backup infrastructure and implement new procedures when needed.- Support all of the Windows infrastructure including systems like Active Directory, DHCP and DNS.- Play a part in root cause analysis activities.What skills will you need:- Minimum of 4 years experience in an IT role.- Strong skills with Windows desktop and server support skills- Network design and implementation (WAN and LAN)- Excellent SCCM skills and experience- Excellent customer service skills - able to communicate well over the phone.- Strong technical problem-solving skills and experiencePlease note that a security clearance will be needed in order to be successfully appointed.
