Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse OperativeLocation: Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB21 5ETSalary: £9.50 (approximate p/ h rate)Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (Mon - Fri, 7am - 5pm)This company is a leading Rice and Pasta business in the UK (part of a larger Food Group) serving the wholesale, retail and food manufacturing industries.The Role:Theyre looking to recruit an operative to work at their Rice Mill in Fulbourn. The role involves the following:

  • Working with a small team of packers to ensure the efficient operation of packing lines
  • Assisting Fork Lift Truck drivers in keeping the warehouse organised
  • Assisting Intake operatives with discharge of rice at the Fulbourn site and external stores
  • Helping with stock counts, promotional labelling and cleaning of the warehouse
  • Strict adherence to the Companys Food Safety, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies is essential so experience in the food industry or on other production lines would be advantageous
