Valeter / DriverCambridge£21,000 per annumWe are looking for friendly, outgoing and motivated individuals to join our service and sales team working as Vehicle Preparation Valeters. Your main duties will include moving vehicles around between sites for our Renault, Dacia and Alpine Dealership and toprepare vehicles for forecourt and for customer handover.Experience in valeting vehicles to a high level is required and knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace is also necessary as you will be working with chemicals. Safe driving policies must be adhered to throughout the day also.The position is physically demanding at times in our very busy workplace, please consider this when applying.The position involves:- The use of High-Quality power washing equipment- The use of chemicals supplied for the motor industry inclusive of wash, polishes and protection substances- You will be required to prepare vehicles to the highest standards at all times- Wash and Valet Service/Sales Vehicles for customers or display cars- Preparing new vehicles following Pre Delivery Inspection and getting "showroom" ready for delivery to customers- Parking up and putting display material into vehicles for forecourt advertising- Working on a timesheet basis and recording work tasks- Moving and driving Company and Customer vehicles under our Driving Safety standards- Conducting damage or scratch checks and reporting to the management team- Collection and delivery of customer vehicles for service work in and around Cambridge and the surrounding areas in line with our Coronavirus Safety Policy and decontamination procedures- Ensuring all vehicles have Covid secure stickers put on when parked up and have been prepared for customers or displayRequired experience:Valeting Experience is essentialFull UK Drivers Licence, held for a minimum of 2 yearsRight to Work information must be suppliedYou must be able to speak English to be able to converse with other staff and take direction as well as read instructions in paper form or electronically with the use of laptops, smartphones and iPadsWe offer all our employees great working conditions with benefits including Cycle To Work Scheme, Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme, optional healthcare programmes, colleague discounts on products and services, life assurance and bonus related pay schemes paidmonthly in arrears.We also offer PPE to all staff, we have strict Covid-19 procedures and policies in place including screens, contactless handovers, de-contamination procedures.
