Travel ConsultantBase Salary to £23,000 + Bonus and BenefitsCambridgeMy client is a leading travel company who creates and tailormade bespoke luxury cruises and holidays to worldwide destinations.Due to expansions, they are now recruiting a Travel Consultant with product knowledge in dynamic packaging and cruise, to join their growing team based in Cambridge.The Travel Consultant is responsible for driving sales and providing exceptionally high levels of customer service whilst dealing with all incoming booking enquiries and passenger services queries via telephone, email and website.Although Travel experienced is preferred, my client will also consider candidates who have a travel and tourism qualification and are keen to develop a career within the travel industry.This is an office-based role in CambridgeTravel Consultant ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming booking enquiries and passenger service queriesHandling all booking reservations and customer administration follow upDynamic packaging for bespoke customer proposalsCoordinating internal sales administrationHandling customer paymentsIdentify cross-sell opportunities and additional revenue opportunitiesBuild a great rapport with customers, before, during and after the sales processPursue and drive revenue growth in line with the businesss aim whilst meeting a variety ofsales targets/goalsTravel Consultant Experience RequiredMin 2 years travel experience and cruise knowledge is preferred although candidates with a Travel & Tourism qualification seeking to develop a career within travelKnowledge & ability to provide tailor-made servicesGood working knowledge of and, ideally, personal experience of long-haul destinations in particular USANatural ability to build a rapport with customers over the telephoneSelf-motivated with a can-do attitude and committed approachEnthusiastic & confidentTravel Consultant Salary and BenefitsBase Salary to £23,000Company annual bonus schemeMonday to Friday, 1 half Saturday every 4-5 weeks, No Sundays22 days holiday plus bank holidaysDiscounted holidays and fam tripsPrivate Healthcare including optical and dental cover (after 12 months) Company Pension schemeFree onsite parkingTo apply for Travel Consultant role, please submit your CV and a member of the team will be in contact to discuss the opportunity and company.
