Working within this busy HR team in Cambridge you will ideally have knowledge within the higher education and academic sector to be able to co-ordinate the efficient running of the programme that will be key in supporting the ongoing career developmentof Independent Researchers in line with the requirements of their particular fellowship.Key responsibilities:Develop and maintain a system that tracks the training progress of Independent ResearchersCompile reports and analysis of data on the Independent Researchers training progress for Departmental heads and other relevant stakeholdersBe the main point of contact in relation to training programmes for the Independent Researchers and stakeholdersProvide financial administration support, monitor expenditure against relevant budgets, raise purchase orders for suppliers and process payment for invoices relating to training events in accordance with the Co financial procedures and financial regulationsReview and maintain webpages with information relating to the Independent Researchers application and career development processPublicise events, support the organisation of development events, such as workshops and additional training sessions and where necessary coordinate travel arrangements for the Independent ResearchersAct as the first point of contact for queries relating to the Independent Researchers training programmeLiaise with the Universitys in-house training providers to identify training events in place, feed into the plans for future training opportunities and research external training provision on subject matters that are not available internallyAdminister the relevant Mentoring programmeEstablish and maintain communication with stakeholders, including senior academics to ensure regular updates on the career development programme are providedSupport the delivery of the professional HR service, specifically with the development and delivery of relevant training sessions to departments on a range of operational topics and undertaking project work linked to the company career development, equality,diversity and inclusion programmeCall Julie for more information!
