Trainee PA SecretarySalary £18,200Based in CambridgeMy client, based in Cambridge is seeking a bright, enthusiastic candidate to join their team.As a Trainee Legal PA you will have the opportunity to learn many tasks and enjoy the benefit of working for this professional forward thinking company in beautiful surroundings.Candidate Spec6 months + experience of working within Administration or Customer ServiceExperience of Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication, with appropriate and effective use of grammar and punctuation, attention to detail, good organisational skillsBe respectful, working with integrity and professionalism at all timesWillingness to work flexibly to meet client needsDuties will involve..Be the first point of contact for clients and new enquiriesArrange appointments for your fee earnersUpdate client records on databases as required and to maintain records of client enquiriesContribute to your fee earners financial performance by proactively working with fee earnersWork closely with the Central Secretarial Services team to ensure any typing requests are completed in a timely mannerCo-ordinate the return of typed documents and action next steps including amendments where necessaryWork closely with all Central Services teams to ensure that work is carried out in an efficient and timely manner, reporting any issues to your Group Lead PACarry out property searches where appropriatePrepare expenses claims on behalf of fee earnersIn conjunction with the Group Legal PA, review of Quality Risk Management (QRM) checklistProactively identify matters for closure and preparing final billing and/or return of client moniesComprehensive diary management for your fee earnersEnsure meeting rooms are booked, including any equipment and refreshmentsPreparation of Powerpoint presentations for your fee earnersEnsure you work proactively with your fee earners to forward plan meetings, travel etcEnsure all files are up to date, either by e-filing or hard copy filingEnsure wider meeting requirements are identified and actioned (such as equipment, refreshments etc)For further information, please contact Ruth on
