Automated Test Framework Development for Embedded Software IoT devicesLocation of work: Fully remoteRate: up to £60 per hour, outside IR35Contract length: 6 months initiallyThe Role: An IoT electronics business who design and manufacture wireless monitoring devices requires a Test Automation Engineer to develop an automated test framework to test their embedded software devices.The business is currently manually testing the firmware, but they now wish to move to an automated testing approach.You will be responsible for leading the test automation and will be required to develop the automated test framework from scratch. You will have opportunity to make key decisions to achieve the test automation. This will include selecting any tools and components,and the programming language the framework will be developed in.To be suitable for this role you should be confident taking a lead role developing automated test solutions to test embedded systems.Skills required:
