Design Manager (or mid/senior Designer) Contract: Temporary – Full timeExciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Design Manager with excellent creative design, ideation and communication skills to join the Brand Development team in the Business & Marketing department of my prestigious client based in Cambridge.Working closely with the marketing strategy and brand management teams in this small in-house creative team, the Design Manager will develop creative concepts for global marketing and brand campaigns. They will lead on design for the marketing assets and solutions across all channels, from outdoor, events and print to digital advertising and engaging content on social platforms.You would be joining an exciting, complex international business and a busy team. Excellent prioritisation and multi-tasking skills are essential, as is a friendly and proactive attitude. You will be happy working both independently and as part of a team.What you’ll be doingCollaborating with the strategy team and Head of Brand to develop creative concepts and ideas based on a brief.Bringing original ideas and innovative solutions to bring a fresh perspective.Responsible for delivering creative and marketing solutions appropriate to regional business needs and the overarching brand strategy.Providing the key liaison point between the creative team and the business to ensure content is provided in a timely way and is fit for purpose.Contributing to the overall smooth running of the unit, liaising closely with the Brand Coordinator.What we’re looking forQualificationsYou will be educated to degree/HND level in graphic design or equivalent level of experienceExcellent Adobe Creative (In design, Illustrator etc)Preferable: Premier, Aftereffects or AnimateSkillsYou are a team player, positive and able to work well with designers and other team members. You have led projects from start to finish.You are adaptable and can work across multiple projects while remaining flexible through multiple revisions and keeping keen attention to detail.Ability to solve problems in an innovative and collaborative manner.Excellent communications skills.Excellent time management, and ability to produce outstanding work to a deadline.ExperienceAgency experience with international brands on multichannel campaignsDesign for digital channelsPreferable: animation and video skillsTo get in touch regarding this exciting opportunity contact Amber Souter at Reed Marketing and Creative on
