Technical Account ManagerPermanent CambridgeUp to £70,000Kelly Services, working on behalf of our global biotech client are actively recruiting for a technical Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is a dynamic, rapidly expanding human cell culture specialist developing new innovateproducts and solutions for the fields of drug discovery, toxicology and life sciences, primary cells and cell culture reagents for biomedical research. This involves the production of high-quality cells and reagents for our customers, performing research anddevelopment towards new products and carrying out bespoke contract research. About the Role The Technical Account Manager is part of the Commercial Team, and you will work alongside the Inside Sales and Scientific Team to deliver a first-class product and service solution to our customers. You will be responsible for both the management of accountsand business opportunities in your given territory. Hours: 37hrs per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday. 9:00am to 4:30pm Friday. Tasks and Responsibilities* Responsible for achieving sales of company products and services in accordance with the annual budget. * Lead and strengthen the credibility of our technical values by promoting the capabilities of our R&D department and the benefits of using our technologies. * To sell company products, services and capabilities to targeted accounts and to create value to the customer by being a key resource within their decision-making process, thus representing all aspects of the business.* Build relationships at senior levels within our customer base, by presenting novel and unique business models and representing the highest level of technical credibility to our customer base. * Conduct presentations to multi-functional groups, including CEOs, COOs, CBOs, Heads of Departments, Lab Managers, Senior Scientists, Scientists, Research Assistants, purchasing departments, and others as appropriate. * Reporting of relevant information relating to field/account activities, including customer feedback, competitor activity etc in accordance with Head of Business Developments requirements. * Support establishment and running of strategic alliances with target accounts, together with central support, which will benefit both product development and further the customers drug discovery objectives. * Carries out research, analysis, monitoring of financial, technological, demographic and other factors so that opportunities can be capitalised on, and the effects of competitor activity minimised. * Supporting commercial efforts by attending meetings and tradeshows when required. * Ensure our CRM system is kept up to date with customer details as orders and enquiries are processed * Assist in the preparation of sales statistics & reports The Candidate* The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level in a scientific discipline, ideally Stem Cell Biology or Regenerative Medicine. Knowledge of iPSC technology is desirable but not essential. * He or she must have strong technical writing experience and must be able to demonstrate all the requisite skills of the position, including the ability to interpret and present complex data with acute attention to detail. * A clear understanding of customer satisfaction and able to deliver a customer focused approach. * Responsible for achieving revenue goals and objectives for the territory. * Good commercial instincts and networking skills * This role is ideal for an independent-minded individual who likes to take on new challenges and is looking to develop within a fast-growing company.
