Job Description

New role to join a start-up software company in Cambridge. As they continue to innovate and scale the products, they need a customer-facing Manager to become the point of contact and interface between the customers and the engineering team.Must have a technology background and ideally some familiarity working for a small Tech company on a mission!You’ll be looking after the key deliverables of big projects. Second line technical support and operations support. Maybe occasional pre-sales work too alongside the Sales team. Ensuring a smooth transition of information between customers and engineering team, managing the full lifecycle.Capable of defining customer requirements, pushing back on customers when needed. You’ll work closely with technical and service support staff on clients premises.To start all UK based, extending into Europe probably early 2021. Likely to be managing accounts in France, Germany, Belgium and Spain as they continue winning new business. Will involve “some” travel but a lot can be done remotely.They need someone that can remain calm and collected in managing customers. The engineering team can only do so much, so prioritisation of tasks with limited resources is needed.Can get into the detail of customer projects whilst keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
