JOB AD:Your key responsibility is providing in-depth technical insight of the UK academic or industrial strengths in computing technologies. You will also have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional and cross-site team and well understand advanced technologies, bridge industries and academia and realize the technology transformation from research to industries.It is essential to have a broad knowledge of various topics in computing technologies. A demonstrable understanding of one or more rendering technologies is desirable, including computer architecture, microarchitecture, GPU, ISA, compiler technology, heterogeneous architectures, parallel programming, many-core system, operation system and hardware-software co-design.Key Responsibilities:Provide in-depth technologies analysis across a wide range of computing technology topics, focusing on UK universities and industriesUnderstand the requirements from different business unitsPresent the findings and recommend innovation ideas to business unitsWork effectively and collaboratively within the teamSupport strategic cooperation with UK partnersStrengthen the relationship with the UK research ecosystemPerson Specification:List details of Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications needed to do the job:Required:Suitable academic background in computer science or relevant subjects, PhD Degree is preferableDemonstrable knowledge of at least one of the technologies: computer architecture, microarchitecture, GPU, ISA, compiler technology, heterogeneous architectures and hardware-software co-designSelf-motivated, well organized and a good team playerGood verbal and writing communication skillDesired:Knowledge/experience in software, programming, high performance computing, in-memory computing and operation systemsExperience in industrial collaboration projectsA good understanding of UK research ecosystem
