Technical Author Cambridge £30,000 to £40,000 + Flexible Working + Benefits Package Excellent opportunity for a Technical Author from an Engineering background looking for a long-term career with both technical and career progression opportunities within a world leading organisation. Through this period a lot of companies have struggled due to COVID-19, however through working with a range of key clients this business has thrived and continued to expand. Through growth, they are now looking to add a Technical Author to their busy team. In this role you will develop and support user manuals, service, quick start and training guides and to assist with marketing material preparation for brochures, website & social media. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment and be able to demonstrate examples of first-hand production of user manuals, PowerPoint presentations, product or corporate brochure and multimedia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Author looking for a long-term career with both technical and career progression opportunities within a world leading organisation. The role: *Creating service user and operational instruction manuals, parts & technical documentation & maintenance instructions *Supporting marketing, production, service and design teams with website, brochure, mail shots and social media *Editing and proof-reading marketing documentation *Remote & flexible working available however you still need to be commutable to site The person: *Proven experience as a Technical Author *A background within an engineering or manufacturing environment *Familiarity with AESP or similar beneficial Reference Number: BBBH97164 Required skills
