Teaching Assistant- Full Time PermanentSeptember start

Cambridge (Border of Cambs, Suffolk and Essex)
Level 2 point 6 (£19,698) - Term time only (38 weeks)
KS1 1:1 with SEN child
8:30am-3:30pm

Reed is currently looking for patient and supportive individual to work on a 1:1 basis as a Teaching Assistant with a very sweet young pupil in KS1. Calmness, understanding and careful teaching will be essential with this child.The School:

Supporting a child with an EHCP primarily for speech, language, and communication difficulties.
To be able to work individually with the child as well as part of a small group
Provide general support as directed by the class teacher
Motivating and encouraging the pupil by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to their needs
Consistently and effectively implementing agreed behaviour management strategies
To support in developing social skills both in and out of the classroom

What you will need:

To be patient, supportive and caring and have a high level of communication and listening skills to be able to take direction and give feedback
To have experience within a school (desirable but not essential- personal/relevant experience with individuals with similar difficulties would also be considered)
Be eager to make a positive, lasting impact on the lives of the young people and have a passion for learning
