Job Description

My Pharmaceuticals and biotechnology client is looking for a Statistical Programming Contractor to be primarily responsible for coordinating the various tools for collecting different types of data. Responsible for ensuring databases are created and adjustedfor the end user. Also contributes to the development and maintenance of analysis and reporting applications. Able to solve complex problems within own area and will participate in a range of projects.Client DetailsMy client is a Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology company with offices in Central Cambridge.DescriptionThe successful candidate for the Statistical Programming Contractor role based in Cambridge, will fulfil the following:

  • Supporting and/or leading the statistical programming deliverables for a clinical study or project
  • Implement statistical programming aspects of the protocol and the clinical development program
  • Program independently with high efficiency
  • Write and/or implement specifications and oversee completeness of relevant documentation
  • Ensure high quality is built into own and other programmers deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with standards and automation usage
  • Contribute to the development of best practices to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness within function
  • Plan and support the teams project activities and tasks
  • Communicate and escalate risks within the assigned studies and/or projects
  • Collaborate internally and externally, to ensure delivery to standards, quality and time
ProfileTo be considered for the Statistical Programming Contractor 6-month contract role, the candidate must present evidence of the following:
  • Excellent SAS programming skills including macro language
  • Thorough knowledge of CDISC standards and industry best practices
  • Degree in Mathematics (i.e., Applied Math, Engineering, etc.), Statistics, Computer Science, Life Science or equivalent
  • Proficient knowledge of the clinical development process,
  • Ability to proactively manage concurrent activities within a study or project,
  • Ability to apply programming knowledge to problem solving,
  • Ability to manage relevant documentation,
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong internal and external relationships
Job OfferThe day rate for this contract role is 600 - per day INSIDE IR35The opportunity for Hybrid working
