Job Purpose:Porcelanosa has been a highly regarded and respected supplier of quality floor coverings, sanitary ware and kitchens to the construction and retail markets across Europe and the World since 1973.Diversifying production has played a key role in the growth of a business group that started off manufacturing a single product: ceramic tiles. Today, the Groups eight firms offer a vast selection of products ranging from kitchen and bathroom equipmentto high-tech materials and state-ofthe-art building solutions for contemporary architecture.This role will be to further develop the commercial specification market for Porcelanosa (South East) ltd through the promotion of our extensive range of quality products and services, encompassed within the highly regarded and respected Porcelanosa brand.Key skills and responsibilities of the job: Selling high quality manufactured products into the architectural and construction market sectors Generating and breaking specifications via leading Architect practices, design studios, interior designers, facade contractors and installers. 50% new business development 50% account management Dealing with projects with a vast range of sizes and material options from our portfolio Managing multiple live projects at any one time, at various stages of development - form design to system installation on site Conducting occasional CPD seminars when required Generating a pipeline of specification projects to support regional and national sales targets CRM database reporting and analysis Networking with decision makers across our customer base To ensure you are familiar with all personnel working within the clients business, and that they are familiar with the Porcelanosa brand and image. To be fully conversant with the complete range of our products in order to facilitate the ideal specification within the design intent and budget constraints of each individual and unique project. To develop and encourage architects and designers to specify porcelanosa products in preference to our competitors based on our product quality, unique solutions and service. To introduce all new products and services offered by Porcelanosa in line with the current business strategy. To liaise with all levels of staff within the Company to ensure Customer expectations and service levels are achieved. To be aware of market trends as well as competitors activities, product ranges, strengths and weaknesses across all sectors To maintain clear and accurate reporting procedures regarding all business activities and ensure all communications are submitted in a timely fashion.Personal Attributes: Experience generating specifications via leading Architect practices and specifiers Experience selling a high value product or a technical product into either main contractors or sub-contractors Ideally relationships with leading architect practices already in place Excellent People Skills Smart personal appearance Clear and positive communicator with good negotiation and influencing skills Relevant experience with face-to-face customer sales in a similar environment or possesses the underlying traits to fulfil this role
