We have a fully electronic patient record system that is improving health-care quality; this is transforming services, improving patient safety and clinical outcomes.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced mental health nurse to work in a large acute teaching hospital. You will work alongside the MDT and liaison psychiatry inputting into patient mental health assessment, triage, risk assessment and intervention across multiple patient pathways.You will be a source of mental health knowledge and expertise, providing support and teaching to staff in their day to day management of patients who present with acute psychological and mental health problems alongside their physical illness.Excellent communication skills are essential for this role. You will need to communicate often complex information both with the MDT, patients and their families and with external mental health services.This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £40.00.
