- Software Validation Engineer- Up to £500 per day - Starting in January 2021 until September 2021- Fully remote so can be based anywhere in the UKWorking for a global software design company we are looking for a Verification Engineer with strong Validation experience to work on a performance analysis tool before it goes live in April 2021. Validation skills include:- Creation and execution of product feature test plans; documenting, tracking and escalating issues as appropriate.- Writing automated tests, knowledge and use of RCPTT (or similar) for GUI testing- Scripting environments – Python, Ruby- Using Jenkins, continuous integration framework for scheduling and monitoring regression tests- ISTQB / ISEB qualifications are desirable, but not essentialCommon required skills/experience include:- Good knowledge and understanding of full software development lifecycle, including common software development, test processes and best practices.- Product development using Agile methodology and familiarity with SDLC tools like JIRA.- Git version control and code-sharing websites like Github, Gerrit etc.- Developing in a Continuous Integration environment using tools such as Jenkins, etc.- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, & analysis skills.- Good communication skills (written & spoken), pro-activity and initiative.
