Job Specification For: Site Foreman Meyer Scott Ref: VR/07514 Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire Temp but potentially ongoing contract temp to perm Pay Rate GBP20.43 p/h Our client established in 1996 was started by an enthusiastic Carpenter with enduring passion for historic architecture, restoration and nature. His vision was to leave a legacy of restored and enhanced buildings for him and his family to be proud of. A new state of the art workshop is currently being built at their site in Hilton to maintain the quality and flow of work through a very busy side of the business. They are currently looking for experienced site foremen to oversee upcoming projects in Thriplow, Cambridgeshire and Abington Piggotts. Duties to include - · Looking after the day to day running of the project in general. · Carry out hands on work predominantly of a carpentry nature. · Alterations and extension to listed properties · Demolition · Small timber framed extension · Groundworks · Steel frame · Flat roof · Larch Cladding · Masonry · Glazing (main extension is structural glass) · Joinery · Plastering · Plumbing and Heating · Decoration · Oak Frame repair · Lime render · Flooring · Electrics · Structural steel · Roofing Although an in depth knowledge of the above isnt necessary for each trade listed above, some basic knowledge of all listed and a specialist knowledge of Carpentry would be for whom this role is most suited.
