Our client, a successful manufacturer, supplier and installer of quality uPVC windows into new build developments are currently recruiting an experienced Service Engineer who can also oversee and run their new Cambridge depot.The successful candidate will have Service Engineer duties for approx. 3 days per week, being responsible for carrying out a post installation service on all newly installed windows & doors. You will carry out any necessary remedial works and aftercare service to the new homeowners. You will be expected to travel to various sites to which a company van and fuel would be provided.For the remaining 2 days per week you will responsible for the running the new depot and being on site particularly when deliveries are expected. Other duties also include acting as the main key-holder and first point of contact, unloading of deliveries to site using the Fork Lift truck, checking stock levels, monitoring usage and re-ordering stock. You must also be responsible for any potential security issues and ensuring that all services and facilities within the depot are operational including heating, lighting and plumbing.As the depot duties involve operating an FLT, an FLT licence would be advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided.For more information or to apply please contact Chase Taylor Recruitment quoting reference MM2399.
