Pure are partnered with a global software consultancy to recruit a Senior Systems Administration specialist on a permanent basis. Your responsibilities will include:• Supporting an international business with a Sys Admin roadmap and taking a lead with infrastructure decisions and management • Issue and problem/triage management • Supporting a broad range of specialist applications, servers and services• Lead infrastructure projects• Deployment and configuration of servers • Hardware management Ideally you will have experience in some of the following:• Running Linux servers and services• Managing servers using Chef, Puppet or cfengine• Docker containers• Virtual Machine infrastructure• Hardware troubleshooting• Infrastructure management tools, eg Foreman, Kubernetes, Openstack• Cloud / Hybrid infrastructure • Architecting, building and operating new services from the ground up• General networking - VPN, Wifi, VLANs, Firewalls, DHCP, DNSBenefits• 33 days annual leave• 5% pension• Bi-annual all inclusive company week abroad• Family BUPA health & dental • Life assurance• 6 week paid sabbatical every 5 years• Totally flexible & remote workingThe position is working for an exceptional business with close access to the A14.
