Jack is recruiting for an exceptional learning disability housing provider who are looking to expand their team of Senior Support Workers across Cambridgeshire.This role focuses on the importance of developing relationships with vulnerable adults whilst supporting them through their day to day activities.As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working with a small team to support adults with a range of needs from standard to complex needs. As well as cooperating with members of multi-disciplinary health teams. This is a real opportunity for anyone looking to make a positive difference and create a better life for individuals in maximising their therapeutic support.Key Duties and Skills· Reporting directly to the Registered Manger and deputise during their absence· Providing considerate high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities whilst ensuring their rights are protected· Effective management, leadership, supervision and support of other team members· Systematically solving day to day problematic issues which arise· Delivering clear communication, reporting, updating care plans, adhering to policies and procedures and relevant regulations· Responsible for rota planning, diary management and attending meetings· Undertaking such training and development to maintain the cultures performance and excellence.Requirements· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior role (required)· Minimum of 2 years care experience working with learning disabilities (preferred)· NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (preferred)· Enhanced DBS· Access to a carShift PatternThis role requires multiple candidates to split 24-hour shifts, 7 days a week (Days and Sleep-Ins).
