Job Description

Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for a Senior Student Recruitment Consultant for their International HIGHER EDUCATION client based in Cambridge. The company are looking for a graduate with experience in B2C Sales to be a Senior Student Recruiter to upsell online educational courses. The Senior Student Recruitment Consultant is responsible for international and domestic student recruitment with an emphasis on lead conversion using consultative sales methods. Consultantswill be required to manage a pipeline of prospects, supporting them through the process from the point of enquiry through to becoming a student.Main Responsibilities: - Senior Student Recruitment Consultant (Course Advising / Course Advisor) * Proactive sales activity by telephone, email and other platforms to meet student recruitment targets using a service oriented approach. Responding to enquiries and following up on interest.* Ensure that direct sales enquiries and direct applications are converted via focused follow-up activity using a consultative sales methodology.* Work closely with the regional sales teams to follow-up leads generated by educational agents.* Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure fast, efficient and effective follow-up of student leads and applications to improve conversion rates, attain sales outcomes and provide high standards of customer service.* Record the details of all sales activity after each call in the firms bespoke CRM system, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and giving clear visibility of results and the current sales pipeline. Ensure lead and student management adheres to the Lead ManagementPolicy in place.* Be receptive and open to training and development in the role.* Deliver weekly reports to assess progress towards goals in the sales cycle.Performance measures

  • Achievement of annual sales targets and conversion rates.
  • Level of customer service.
  • Speed to contact.
  • Number of leads contacted each day, week etc.
  • Database maintenance.
  • Number of applications, offers, RPs.
  • Activity metrics - Call and email etc.
General Duties and Responsibilities
  • To work within and actively support admissions and quality practices of partner University.
  • To participate in the annual Performance appraisal process.
  • To ensure communications systems and practices support effective management arrangements and promote good relations with staff and applicants.
  • To be responsible for your own continuing self-development.
  • To undertake other duties not specifically stated above, which from time to time are necessary for the effective performance of the business without altering the nature or level of responsibility involved.
Experience Required:- Senior Student Recruitment Consultant Essential* Graduate - Degree or equivalent (MUST)* Higher Education Sector experienced (HIGHLY DESIRABLE) * Strong Student Recruitment Experience (HIGHLY DESIRABLE)* Excellent communication and consultative sales skills.(MUST)* Persuasive relationship builder.* Strong work ethic, self-motivated and highly organised.* Customer service oriented.* Pride in delivery of work to high standards, set and meet challenging goals.* Attention to detail, cultural awareness and sensitivity.* Adaptable and versatile.* Enthusiastic and energetic, with a track record of high achievement.* Supportive team player.* Target-driven, determined and ambitious.* Aptitude for using technology and e-media.Desirable* Ability to speak a foreign language (A Massive plus but not essential)The Senior Student Recruitment Consultant role, is a permanent position based in Central Cambridge. Working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30. The Salary will be between £27,000 - £38,000 DOE + £20,000 Bonus (Uncapped) (Targeted)+ Excellent benefits.
